santa monica: xooro

tommy tries a fancy churro from xooro...

original

tommy says: bleh. these were oily, soggy, expensive (almost $5 each!) and not even served warm! the original was filled with a custard cream. also tried the turkish hazelnut which had icing all over the outside and was filled with hazelnut cream which was too sweet. the batter for the churro needs work. they should've spent more time concentrating on the taste of the product instead of the packaging! so not worth the calories!

I think the churros are OK, the packaging is cool, There's not other product outside like that. They have to work on the product, but they just open on friday. So let's go again next week and help people with their new stores,

I'm not with u this time Tommy, and I'm always with you my friend! This place really knows how to kill the crave u know...... The concept is awesome! They have 2 work on it, but the fancy package is great for pencils. If u eat the churro warm @ the store is DELICIOUS, EXTRAORDINARY, if u take it home and eat it 4 hrs later is vomiting, but there's no dessert u can eat it after few hrs and taste good. If u go to pinkberry and u wait till get home 4 your ice cream is going to b droping the cup.

thanks for the comment sharon, but i am going to have to disagree with you. i ordered these churros to go, but ate them right outside the store, and they were not warm and seriously gross. everyone is entitled to their own opinion. :)

Sharon, are you 5? Pencils? You seriously have poor taste in food. If you haven't noticed, the latest trend is to be green, and "xooros" has excessive waste for packaging that does not promote recycling or staying green. This place is disgusting and a waste of money. Bravo Tommy. Tell us the real truth.

Casey, do you work for the company? I have read your 5 and 4 star reviews everywhere on the web and you keep referring this place as a great "concept" and "product" which makes me wonder if you are real.
